With a wide variety of cheeses from goat, cow and sheep milk, even the most critical connoisseurs with the most refined palates will be left speechless.
Riserva, extra hard cheeses from Vindija, have a minimum age of 12 months. They are of premium quality and mature aromas and are produced from 100% domestic sheep and goat milk.
The name riserva denotes a superior product with an extended maturing period, which, due to its limited quantities, is reserved precisely for special events.
Riserva cheeses are the recipients of international awards for quality and outstanding taste at the World Cheese Awards and the Superior Taste Award.
The highest quality local milk of exceptional freshness is the key ingredient of Riserva cheeses, and only the “Milk of Croatian Farms” meets the strict criteria for the production of Riserva Ovidur, extra hard sheep cheese, and Caprodur, extra hard goat cheese.
The extra hard sheep cheese Riserva Ovidur is recognisable by its beautiful yellowish and slightly more intense yellow colour towards the crust. It is characterised by a buttery and sweetish taste, with a hint of nuts. Thanks to the traditional method of production and the care of experienced cheesemakers, and a minimum of 12 months of ripening, the taste of this cheese is special, slightly crispy, and supple at every following bite.
The quality of Riserva Ovidur was confirmed at the prestigious 2023 WORLD CHEESE AWARDS in Norway where it won a bronze medal and stood out among strong international competition. At the 2024 Superior Taste Award in Brussels, it achieved exceptional results for superior quality and taste and won the SUPERIOR TASTE AWARD with a maximum of 3 stars.
Riserva Caprodur, extra hard goat cheese, is a warm white with yellow undertones, and towards the crust it has a slightly paler yellow colour. It has a moderate characteristic and ripe aroma, and an extremely rich taste, somewhat sharp, best described as a milky-spicy note. Caprodur has a solid homogeneous structure, it is brittle when cut due to its ripeness, with hints of crystalline that give this cheese slight crunchiness, which is the best proof of exceptional care at ripening and at full ripeness.
Riserva Caprodur was awarded the 1-star SUPERIOR TASTE AWARD for quality and excellent taste at the Superior Taste Award 2024 in Brussels.

Ovidur hard sheep cheese has an extremely mild aroma, and thanks to the specific taste of sheep's milk, its almost woody nuance is complemented by an aroma reminiscent of nuts and caramel.
Caprodur brings out the best of goat's milk, it is pale yellow in colour, and stands out for its dominant slightly spicy taste and characteristic aroma.
Bovidur has established itself as a proven classic among hard cheeses made from cow's milk, and its slightly sweet aroma is a delight for every palate.
In a refined combination of cow and sheep milk, golden Orodur stands out, a hard cheese of pale yellow colour, with a carefully balanced aroma and wonderful taste.
The fullness of the milky aroma is best expressed in semi-hard cheeses, the production of which Vindija began more than forty years ago. Semi-hard cheeses from Vindija's assortment are rich in 'z bregov fresh milk, which gives them a special charm and mild flavour, making them ideal in combination with different types of dishes and especially with delicious sandwiches.

Every true connoisseur of cheese holds a special place in their heart for noble and soft cheeses. Vindija is the only producer of cheeses with noble moulds in the region, among which the most famous are Bovi Blue soft cow’s milk cheese with a noble blue mould, Camembert soft cow’s milk cheese and Caprilo soft goat’s milk cheese with a noble white mould.
With their refined flavours, soft cheeses such as Bel Vi cow’s milk cheese or Capron goat’s milk cheese are not far behind. Their soft consistency comes to the fore when used to prepare dishes or, for example, raclette, the famous Swiss dish with melted cheese.
