Vindija boasts a tradition of more than half a century of producing the highest quality food products.

The Vindija Quality mark has long been synonymous with Croatian products of European quality with an emphasis on functional products of additional health value. Our nutritionally valuable ranges are becoming part of this tradition and as such are not only part of the everyday lives of families but also of top catering menus, as well as of institutions such as hospitals and kindergartens that pay close attention to the selection of food suppliers.

Our assortment covers the entire ideal daily diet: from breakfast and lunch to snacks and dinner, with a rich range of milk products, fermented products, cheeses, butter, puddings, vegetable products and fruit juices, refreshing drinks and isotonic drinks as well as chicken and turkey meat and meat products.

Vindija Quality includes more than 1,400 safe, healthy and tasty products:

• we use proven raw materials following a “from-stable-to-table” approach in which we closely monitor every part of the production cycle to present a premium product every time and without exception;
• our team of dedicated experts is constantly working to perfect the product line;
• we constantly invest in the modernisation of production technology and the development of packaging, paying great attention to environmental protection and meeting all prescribed environmental standards.

It is important to us that our consumers consume fresh and high-quality products, which is why our strictly controlled traceability process guarantees that the entire range of milk and antibiotic-free chicken meat and meat products arrives on store shelves within a maximum of 24 hours.

This means that thanks to a well-rounded production process, you can enjoy the freshest milk, meat and meat products every day without exception. The best products on store shelves come through our own distribution channels, straight from our production facilities. We have ensured additional quality through the controlled production of feed for poultry and dairy cows in our own Blagodar factory.

All our products meet local as well as international quality and safety standards:

• Our chickens and turkeys bear the label “Meat of Croatian farms” — we are proud of the Croatian origin of our products as well as of their succulence!
• Our fresh milk and numerous dairy products bear the label “Milk of Croatian farms” which confirms the Croatian origin of the raw materials and ensures top quality!
• The favourite 100% plant-based DAR drinks come in environmentally friendly packaging and bear the mark of guarantee of the Croatian Institute of Public Health and the Ministry of Health “Healthy Living” — an additional recognition of nutritional quality.
• The VEGAN label for the complete line of DAR plant products that certifies that the products comply with vegetarian and vegan ethics.
• The certificate “Proven quality Croatia” for Cekin poultry meat — the National Quality System established by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Croatia.
• The “Antibiotic-free” certificate for Cekin fresh meat and Vindon fresh meat is confirmation that the breeding and processing of meat is carried out without the use of antibiotics.

Quality and safety certificates

In addition to the antibiotic-free label, which confirms that there are no antibiotics in our chicken and feed, but also in the whole process, an additional confirmation of product quality was obtained in the form of the first Croatian certificate “Proven Quality Croatia” for poultry meat awarded to the brand Cekin. “Proven Quality Croatia” is another confirmation of the efforts made so far to provide consumers with the best local products made from fresh poultry meat of the highest quality. In addition to the existing labels Chicken number 1, Milk and Turkey number 1 in Croatia, the labels Meat and Milk of Croatian farms and Healthy Living are certificates that emphasise the added value and benefits of the product for the health of consumers.

In addition, we have taken care to secure the IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (British Retail Consortium) certification, as well as the HALAL certificate awarded by the Islamic Community in Croatia (Center for HALAL Quality Certification in Zagreb) and Kosher, a certificate awarded by the Jewish religious community Bet Israel in Croatia, so that our products are readily available to everyone!

The brightest DLG medals for the highest product quality

We are proud holders of the world's highest quality medals awarded at the leading European food competition in Frankfurt organised by DLG, the German agricultural association. The brightest DLG medals are regularly won by Vindija's hard cheeses made from goat, sheep and cow milk - Caprodur, Ovidur, Bovidur and Orodur, as well as by many other dairy and meat products.

Recognition of original Croatian products

The symbols “Croatian Quality” and “Authentic Croatian”, awarded by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce since 2007, additionally confirm the highest level of quality in meeting world standards in production. This is recognition for the products that we have perfected alongside those we cooperate with who have proven again and again Croatian quality - and this is also supported by the licence awarded to us by the Croatian Agricultural Agency to use the mark “Milk of Croatian farms”.
