Tuna tagliatelle

Preparing a delicious starter is no problem at all with Vindija’s products because when they are among the ingredients, you know that you will get an excellent first course. 


Preparation  /       20 min
  • Use the tuna oil from the tin to fry the chopped onion, add tuna flakes and fry shortly before you add cooking cream and sour cream. 
  • Season with salt and pepper, cook for five more minutes and add the tagliatelli you have previously cooked in salty boiling water.
  • Stir thoroughly, sprinkle with grated Varaždinec cheese and serve.
Serving suggestion
Before serving, add some chopped capers.   

Chef’s tip
Instead of tuna, you can use smoked trout fillets – they will give a special flavour to this dish. 
Ingredients  / serves 4 
500 g tagliatelli          
For the sauce
2 dl 'z bregov cooking cream
2 dl  'z bregov sour cream
onion
300 g tuna
50 g Vindija’s Varaždinec cheese
1 tbsp  thyme 

salt and pepper to taste
