Then comes my 15 minutes of fame, when I savour the little surprises mum leaves for me in my school bag every day. No doubt I could not do it if it weren't for Vindija, and my mum always says with a smile on her face: "Vindija is my best friend!"

Tortilla school lunch pack

Our gourmet team brings you valuable tips on how to pass the most important exam of every parent chef and to prepare a meal that will make the long and exhausting day at school better for their youngster.  
Preparation   / 30 minutes
  • Fry the breaded chicken strips in a deep fat fryer or in a frying pan on some oil.
  • Place the meat on a paper towel to absorb excess fat. 
  • Cut the avocado into cubes and mix with cottage cheese, a squeeze of lemon juice, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Use a hand blender to work the mixture into a fine spread. 
  • Heat the tortilla wraps briefly on a hot frying pan and take them out. Spread a layer of the cheese avocado mixture, follow with spinach leaves, sprinkle with grated carrot, finish with the breaded chicken strips and fold. 
  • If needed, fasten with a toothpick and cut each tortilla roll in half. 

Chef’s tip
Together with the tortillas, pack some Vindija’s healthy keffir in your junior’s lunch pack. Some white grapes will go wonderfully for dessert!  

Ingredients / 2 tortilla
2 tortilla wraps
150 g breaded chicken strips
6 listova leaves f fresh spinach or lettuce 
1 svježa grated carrot
70 g  Vindija cottage cheese 
1/2 avocado  

salt, pepper, garlic powder
