Preparation  / 45 min
  • Debone the chicken thighs and dice the meat. 
  • Melt the butter over low heat, add the meat and fry until golden. Sprinkle with flour and cook a little longer.  
  • Add the stock and milk. 
  • Cook for about 5 - 10 minutes, reduce the heat, add the grated cheese and simmer while stirring constantly until the cheese has melted. 
  • Season with chives, salt and pepper. 
Serving suggestion
Garnish with 1 - 2 spoonfuls of cooking cream and toasted cubes of brown bread. 

Chef’s tip
Instead of chicken thighs, you can use Vindon turkey thighs.

30 dg  Cekin chicken thighs
5 dg  Vindija Bovizola cheese
5 dg  grated Vindija Varaždinec cheese
2 dg  grated Vindija Bovidur cheese
5 dl vegetable stock 
5 dl 'z bregov milk
  salt, pepper 
1 tbsp flour  
1 tbsp  'z bregov butter
1 čajna žličica  chopped chives 
0,5 dl  'z bregov cooking cream
2 slices  of brown bread, cut into cubes
