Stuffed Peppers with fresh cheese and vegetables

Preparation  / 75 minutes
  • With a paring knife, cut a circle around the stem and remove the seeds. 
  • Mix the cheese with the cream, lightly season with salt and garlic and add peas and corn. 
  • Use the mixture to fill the peppers and leave to cool in the refrigerator for at least an hour. 
  • When chilled, cut the peppers into slices 1.5 - 2 cm thick. 
Serving suggestion
Serve the slices of pepper sprinkled with basil and drizzled with olive oil with some corn bread or a crusty bun. 

Chef’s tip
If you want to make this dish richer, mix cubes of Vindon De lux turkey ham into the filling. 
Ingredients  / Serves 4 
2 - 3  large red peppers 
500 g 'z bregov light fresh cheese 
2 tbsp.  'z bregov sour cream
100 g boiled peas, drained 
100 g boiled sweetcorn, drained
  salt, garlic powder
4 tbsp olive oil 

fresh basil, finely chopped
