Plum strudel

Preparation  / 60 min
  • Cut the plums into cubes and mix with cinnamon, sugar and vanilla sugar.
  • Sprinkle two dough sheets at a time with melted butter and place one above the other.
  • Cover each of these dough sheets (there should be 5 sheets in total) by two thirds with plums and fold into a strudel.
  • Place the strudel on a buttered baking sheet with a higher edge and cover evenly with some butter.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 190ºC for about 25 minutes or until desired color.
Serving
Serve hot, sprinkled with icing sugar or with ‘z bregov whipped cream or even with a scoop of vanilla ice.

1 package (about 400 g) of finished strudel dough
1,3 kg plums
125 g 'z bregov butter
150 g sugar
1 vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
