Muffins with cheese and bacon

Our gourmet team brings you valuable tips on how to pass the most important exam of every parent chef and to prepare a meal that will make the long and exhausting day at school better for their youngster. 
Preparation  / 40 min
  • Stir-fry the diced bacon, drain and cool.
  • Mix milk, eggs and melted butter with the flour and baking powder. Add salt, pepper, herbs, cheese and drained bacon.
  • Fill up to 2/3 of the muffin cups (or in paper cups for muffins) with the resulting mixture.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 190ºC for about 25 minutes.

Chef's tip
'z bregov Vilikis Greek yoghurt type will go nicely with these muffins.
for 12 - 16 pieces
120 g finely grated Ovidur
150 g smoked bacon Vir, diced
3 eggs
50 g butter 'z bregov
2 tablespoons finely chopped herbs (parsley, chives, etc.)
380 - 400 g flour
4 dl milk or yogurt 'z bregov

salt and pepper
  a bit of baking powder
