Minced turkey meat and Swiss chard rolls

Preparation /60 min
  1. Mix the minced turkey meat with rice, egg and spices
    until you get an even mixture. 
  2. Blanch the Swiss chard leaves in boiling water for about
    2 – 3 minutes and drain immediately. 
  3. Fill them with the mixture of turkey and rice, forming small rolls.
    Place them in a saucepan.  
  4. Mix the tomato puree in the stock and pour it over the rolls.
    Cook over a low heat for about 35 – 40 minutes.  
  5. Make sure the rolls are covered with liquid at all times.
    Add a little water if necessary. 
  6. When it is almost done, thicken the sauce with a little flour
    mixed with sour cream. Season to taste.  
  7. Cook for another 2 – 3 minutes.  
Serving suggestion
Serve with boiled potatoes. 

Chef’s tip
During spring or summer, you can make the rolls with young vine leaves.

0,4 kg Vindon minced turkey meat
2 šalice cooked rice
1 egg

salt, pepper, garlic powder 
10 large  Swiss chard leaves 
0,1 l 'z bregov sour cream
1 tbsp tomato puree  
0,5 l meat stock or broth
  a little flour
