Juicy chicken from the oven

Preparation   / 60 minutes
  • Salt the chicken pieces well ant put aside at a cool place. 
  • Clean the vegetables and cut into strips. 
  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces for five minutes on each side.
  • Butter an ovenproof baking dish or deep baking tray and place the fried chicken pieces on butter.
  • Using the same pan, saute the chooped vegetables for a couple of minutes.
  • Spice it with salt, pepper and spicy-hot paprika powder to taste and add soup.
  • After it boils, pour the sauce on the chicken.
  • Put it in a to 200ºC preheated oven.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes.
Serving suggestion 
Serve hot directly after removed from the oven. As a side dish we recommend rice of homemade noodles. 

Chef's tip 
You can substitute a part of the soup with wine, and five minutes before the end of the baking sprinkle everything with grated "Varaždinec" cheese and bake to end.

1   large green pepper
onion
2 large tomatoes
a little oil
spicy-hot paprika powder
  salt and pepper
50 g butter 'z bregov
1 cup of broth
