Happy Panna Cotta

You can prepare this  Italian dessert with a pudding-like texture with various additives. Look how our chefs have imagined this dessert which is originating from Piemont!
Preparation / 50 minutes
  • Soak gelatine in cold water (according to the instructions on the sachet).
  • Poor sugar and vanilla sugar into the whipping cream and let it simmer and boil up.
  • Add the swollen gelatine into the hot whipping cream and mix it good to let it melt down.
  • Poor the batter into moulds (such as metal muffin moulds) and leave in fridge for a few hours to solidify.
  • Peel the apples and cut into cubes.
  • Heat up sugar and butter in a pan for melting and add wine.
  • In addition add apples and saffron and cook until the apples become encased only in thick a syrup.
  • Place biscuits and walnuts in a firm plastic bag and chrush coarsely with a  mallet.

Serving
Serve the chilled Panna Cotta with warm (not hot!) apples sprinkled with crushed walnuts and buscuits.

Ingredients / 4 persons
For Panna Cotta
5 dl 'z bregov whipping cream
1 sachet gelatine (10g grounded or 6 sheets)
3 spoons sugar
20 g (2 sachets) vanilla sugar
Other ingredients
2 large apples
6 spoons sugar
sachet saffron (ca. 2g)
3 dl  white dry wine (like Muscat or Sauvignon)
20 g butter
50 g chocolate tea biscuits
50 g walnuts
