Gratinated broccoli with Mileram

Preparation  / 30 minutes
  • Cut the broccoli into florets and boil them in salted water. 
  • Drain and put into an ovenproof dish greased with butter. 
  • Cut the bacon into small cubes and sprinkle on the broccoli. 
  • Mix the Mileram with eggs, season with salt and pepper, add a pinch of nutmeg and pour the mixture over the broccoli.  
  • Bake at 200 °C for about 15 minutes.
Serving suggestion
If you want to serve this dish in individual portions, prepare it in a cupcake tin. Line the bottom of each mould with filo pastry, add the filling and bake it.

Chef’s tip
Instead of smoked bacon cubes, sprinkle the broccoli with coarsely chopped sun-dried tomatoes and olives.

80 dg broccoli
4 dl 'z bregov Mileram
10 dg Vir smoked bacon 
10 dg shredded Caprodur cheese
  salt, pepper, ground nutmeg 
  'z bregov butter, for greasing
