  • Knead a dough of all  the ingredients. Leave it, covered, in the refrigerator to rest for about 1-2 hours.
  • From the dough form balls the size of walnuts and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper, leaving enough space between each of the pieces.
  • Bake the gingerbreads in the oven at 200 ºC for about 10-12 minutes. They have to be still slightly soft when you take them out of the oven.
  • With help of a cake knife remove the pieces from the baking tray but only when they are partially cooled.

Chef's tip
In addition to cinnamon, you can spice the gingerbreads also with some ground cloves, lemon zest, cardamom, ginger or similar aromatic spices.

500 g smooth flour
125 g 'z bregov butter (softened)
125 g icing sugar
175 gliquid flower honey
half a teaspoonof cinnamon
1 teaspoonof baking soda
