Cold Rolls with Bovizola Cheese Spread

Preparing a delicious starter is no problem at all with Vindija’s products because when they are among the ingredients, you know that you will get an excellent first course.
Preparation  / 30 min
  • Cut the zucchini lengthwise into slices about 4 mm thick (we recommend using a meat slicer). Smear the slices with olive oil and grill briefly (for 30 seconds) on a heated ridged skillet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and let it cool down. 
  • Cut the DeLuxe ham into thin slices, and then into strips as wide as the zucchini strips.  
  • Cut the fennel and carrots into thin sticks. Sauté on heated Butterino, season with salt, pepper and a bit of garlic. Remove from heat and let it cool down.
  • Smear the chilled zucchini strips with a layer of well chilled Bovizola spread, approximately 4 mm thick, cover them with DeLuxe ham strips and shape into rolls. 
  • Toast the bread briefly and cut into circles. Place the rolls on the toast circles and fill the middle with the sautéed and chilled fennel and carrot.  
  • Decorate with fennel leaves and serve.

Ingredients /  serves 8
250 g of zucchini
200 g of fennel
50 g of 'z bregov Butterino with herbs
1 tablespoonof olive oil
120 gof carrots
150 gof Vindon DeLuxe turkey ham
 salt, pepper and garlic to taste
150 gof Bovizola 'z bregov cheese spread
8 slicesof toast
