Chicken fillet in puff pastry

Preparation   / 45 minutes
  • Salt the chicken and fry in a pan with a little oil, for five minutes on both sides. Put aside on a warm place. 
  • Mix the cottage cheese with walnuts and add a bit salt and pepper.
  • Roll out the pastry thinly and divide into two parts.
  • In the middle of each pastry put a fillet piece, then half of the cheese mixture on top of it and cover with two slices of prosciutto.
  • Wrap the pastry so air does not enter.
  • Bake in preheated oven at 200ºC for about 10-15 minutes until the dough turns nice golden brown.
Serving suggeston 
Serve with a side dish of cooked vegetables and with fresh salad. 

Chef's tip 
The cooler puff pastry is when it is put into the oven, the nicer it is rising.

2 pieces  Cekin chicken fillet
4   thin slices prosciutto
4 tablespoons  'z bregov fresh cheese
1 tablespoon walnuts
salt and pepper
250 g puff pastry
1 tablespoon 'z bregov butter
