Cheescake Superior

Preparation  / 90 minutes
  • Grind biscuits and stir with melted butter.
  • Cover the cake pan with the biscuit mixture and push it in thoroughly to form a thin compact cake crust.
  • Stir eggs into the cheese and add the other filling ingredients carefully and mix well.
  • Spread the filling evenly over the cake crust in the pan and put it into the at 160ºC preheated oven.
  • Bake max.1 hour.
  • Take the cake out of the oven, let it cool down at room temperature and the put it into the fridge for 12 hours to solidify and to obtain the renowned creamy texture.
Serving suggestion
Take the cake out of the pan just before serving. Spread some whipped cream over it that you have previously prepared with added sugar and stabilizer.

Chef's tip
Cover the cake pan from below with some aluminium foil before baking or put the cake pan into a flat thin baking plate in order to avoid drops of fat dripping from cake pan to burn in into the oven.

For the dough
250 g speculoos biscuits (or similiar dark cookies)
125 g 'z bregov butter
For the filling
800 g Vivis fresh cream cheese, plain
200 g suggar
4 eggs
20 g pudding powder
Serving ingredients
200 ml 'z bregov whipping cream
50 g powdered sugar
1 sachet stabilizer for whipping cream
