Bunny buns with chocolate

Preparation
  • Dissolve the yeast in the cream, add sugar and the melted butter, and mix in the flour and the salt. Knead a smooth dough and leave it to rest for 15 minutes. 
  • Knead again, wrap in a cotton cloth or gauze and leave in a large dish filled with cold water (leave enough space for the dough to rise).
  • After at least two hours remove the dough from the water and divide into three parts on a floured board or table. Roll each part with a rolling pin into a round shape and cut into 6-8 triangles.
  • Put a tablespoon of the chocolate filling on each triangle and form into a bun. Put the buns on a baking tray covered with parchment paper. 
  • Leave to rise for another 10 minutes. Cut “rabbit ears” with scissors and make holes for eyes. Bake in a 210 °C oven for 12-14 minutes or until they reach the desired color.

Chef's tip
You can fill the buns with jam and roll them in powdered sugar once baked.

500 g all - purpose flour 
40 g fresh yeast
200 g butter 'z bregov
200 gsour milk 'z bregov
4 tablespoonssugar
7 gsalt
 chocolate cream for filling
